- 2010: Fifty years ago Joe Kittinger jumped to earth from 102,800 feet, near the edge of space. In 2010 the Red Bull Stratos mission will explore the limits of the human body. Felix Baumgartner will undertake a stratospheric balloon flight to 120,000 feet and attempt a freefall jump targeted to reach – for the first time in history – supersonic speeds.
- January 8, 2010: An expert sky diver has set a new world record for base jumping from the top of the Burj Khalifa. Nasr Al Niyadi and his trainer Omar Al Hegelan made a perfect landing after jumping 2,205ft from the 160th floor of the world's tallest building in Dubai.
- February 1, 2008: Luigi Cani set a world record at Perris Airport (USA),
jumping with the world's smallest parachute. At 37 square feet, the canopy was smaller than a twin-bed sheet. - November 21, 2007: A "diamond" new world record with 100 parachutes.
- February 8, 2006: Worlds largest freefall formation was made by 400 Skydivers.
